Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martti Molski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian McGordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martti Molski could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Brian McGordon's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Martti Molski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian McGordon! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Molski avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Molski throws out a loose jab but McGordon uses good head movement to avoid it. McGordon lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Molski backs up against the cage.
McGordon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. No luck with that takedown attempt from Molski. McGordon tries a low kick but Molski avoids it. McGordon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Brian McGordon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McGordon throws a jab but it's blocked by Molski. McGordon takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Molski scores with a decent looking hook. McGordon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Molski moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Molski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McGordon as he jumps to the side. McGordon gets a double leg takedown into Molski's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Molski utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. McGordon trying to control the position from guard on top but Molski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McGordon preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGordon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Molski works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Molski wants to sweep but no luck. McGordon missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. McGordon not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McGordon moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Molski.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McGordon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Molski keeps working. McGordon landing strikes. McGordon throwing shots but missing, from side control. Molski tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McGordon wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. McGordon cracks Molski with an elbow. That is naaassty. Molski is looking for a sweep. Molski gets back to half guard. McGordon trying to control the action but Molski is working from the bottom.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McGordon stalling away here and it's allowed Molski to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. McGordon connects with a couple of short punches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McGordon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Molski looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. McGordon dives in and grabs Molski's left leg, looking for a takedown. Molski pushes down on McGordon's head and hops out. Molski ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Molski displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McGordon. Molski swings and misses with a hook to the body.

McGordon does a little dance to reset his feet. Molski dips down and scores with a jab to the body. McGordon throws a hook but Molski avoids it easily. Molski swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McGordon. Molski checks a low kick from McGordon. McGordon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Molski paws at him with a jab and circles away. McGordon misses the jab. Molski takes a swing at McGordon's ribcage but misses.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as McGordon takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. McGordon working some nice short punches in the clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A battle for position here, against the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Molski can't find room to land a body shot as McGordon controls the action.
McGordon has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Molski clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Brian McGordon will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

McGordon manages to get full guard. Molski connects with a couple of short punches. Brian McGordon has got the better of the ground game so far. Molski forces his way into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McGordon keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. McGordon felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Molski is just content to waste time from the top position. McGordon takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. McGordon wants to control the position but Molski says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McGordon can do anything to dispel that myth.
