Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Felix Kjellberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jayme Thales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Felix Kjellberg has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Felix Kjellberg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jayme Thales! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Kjellberg. Thales does a little dance to reset his feet. Thales connects with a high kick. Kjellberg lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kjellberg. Thales closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kjellberg did well to prevent Thales getting side control. Thales decides to return to a standing position. Thales gets a takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kjellberg tries to get to full guard but Thales has control of the leg. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Thales decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Kjellberg misses with a wild combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kjellberg throws a nice looking combination but Thales bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Thales gets the takedown into side control. Thales decides to stand back up. Thales steps back and let's Kjellberg get back to his feet. Kjellberg misses with a looping left. Kjellberg lands a glancing blow to the side of Thales's head. Kjellberg throws a body punch but Thales moves out of range. Felix Kjellberg is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Thales gets a double leg takedown into Kjellberg's guard. Thales is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. This has been an exciting period of action! Thales decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thales takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Thales avoids a punch combination nicely.
Thales closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Kjellberg might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Thales is controlling the pace.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Thales works his way into full mount! Kjellberg knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Thales on the ground. Thales working for a guillotine from mount but Kjellberg is in no mood to give up. Thales lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Thales thowing shots but they're missing. Thales is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kjellberg can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Thales working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Kjellberg turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Thales off and cradles Kjellberg's limp body as Thales celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Jayme Thales!
