Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Landon Guzman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyler Evans has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Landon Guzman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tyler Evans! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guzman drives through and clinches with Evans against the cage.
Evans turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Evans manages to end up in side control. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Evans wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Guzman, who protects the arm well. Evans working away. Evans tries for a kimura but Guzman is defending well. Guzman is trying to get back to his feet. Guzman regains half guard there - taking advantage of Evans's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Evans is keen to just control but Guzman is a slippery customer. Evans sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Guzman defending well though. Guzman wants to get back to his feet. Evans is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Guzman is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evans wants to lay and pray for a moment but Guzman keeps working. Evans wants to work for an arm triangle but Guzman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Evans looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Guzman trying to control here.
Evans is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Evans wants to take a breather but Guzman is having none of it. Evans thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Evans stalling away here and it's allowed Guzman to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Guzman keeping full guard, as Evans tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Evans loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Evans won't allow Guzman to sweep him here. Guzman wants to stand but Evans is controlling the position. Evans trying to control but Guzman is working from the bottom. Guzman keeping full guard, as Evans tries to pass. Guzman keeping moving, preventing Evans from controlling successfully. Evans stands up over Guzman, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Evans postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. This has been an exciting period of action! Evans lands a couple of elbows. Evans wants to control from the top but Guzman keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Evans tries to free his leg and advance position but Guzman is retaining full guard. Guzman working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Evans. Evans has gone for a leg lock! Guzman slips out almost immediately though and dives into Evans's guard. Guzman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Evans looking for a sweep. Not yet Evans, not yet.
Tyler Evans has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Evans scores with a takedown into Guzman's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Evans trying to control but Guzman is working from the bottom. Evans looking to pass the guard. Guzman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Evans defends well. Evans makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Evans wants to control from the top but Guzman keeps moving. Guzman keeping full guard, as Evans tries to pass. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Evans is looking to work some ground and pound but Guzman has wrist control. Evans is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Evans working his ground and pound in the gym. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Evans trying to control the position from guard on top but Guzman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyler Evans dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Evans throws a right and a left that Guzman avoids nicely. Guzman throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Evans tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Guzman is in Evans's guard. Guzman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Guzman throwing strikes but missing. Evans is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Guzman has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Evans is proving hard to escape from.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evans working for a triangle but Guzman defends it easily.
Guzman drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Evans dives on top into guard. Guzman wants to stand up but Evans is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Evans works a leg free and moves into half guard. Evans tries to pass to full mount but Guzman defends it. Well, if Evans is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Evans is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Evans with the ground and pound but Guzman uses the opportunity to regain guard. Guzman is looking to stand up but Evans isn't so interested in that idea. Evans trying to control but Guzman is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tyler Evans has got the better of the ground game so far. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Guzman being controlled here, momentarily.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tyler Evans. Evans darts in and clinches Guzman up against the cage. Guzman wants a takedown.

He's almost out here... but no, Evans gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Evans working the ground and pound but Guzman is defending the strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Evans cracks Guzman with a big right hand but Guzman just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Evans trying to control the action but Guzman is working from the bottom. Evans swings around for an armbar but Guzman sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Evans's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyler Evans showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Evans misses with a right hand and Guzman counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Guzman gets caught napping as Evans dives in and scores a takedown. Guzman manages to retain guard. Evans postures up and lands a big shot to Guzman's brow. Evans prevents Guzman from getting back to his feet. Evans throws a big right hand that misses. Evans working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Evans looking to pass the guard. Evans stops Guzman from standing up. Guzman is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Evans trying to control but Guzman is working from the bottom. Evans stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Guzman swivels though and keeps the full guard. Evans postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evans wants to control from the top but Guzman keeps moving. Evans drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Guzman manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Evans has Guzman in his guard. Guzman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Evans has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Guzman has managed to get both his arms back between Evans's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Evans is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Evans wants to stand up but Guzman is controlling the position.
Evans is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Evans is looking for a kimura here.
Evans looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guzman won't allow Evans to pass to mount. Guzman tries to kick Evans off but Evans keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Guzman is refusing to be controlled, as Evans sits in half guard. Evans is looking to advance position but Guzman won't allow it. Evans uses his free foot to push down on Guzman's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Guzman. Evans working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Evans with good strikes from the mount here! Evans tries to control but Guzman wriggling away. Evans goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Guzman is on top in guard.
Guzman tries to stand but Evans is controlling from the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Evans lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Guzman!
And that's the end of the fight! Tyler Evans comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Evans winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
