Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dodelike Slag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Troy Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dodelike Slag! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Troy Marley! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slag fails with an attempt to clinch.
Slag moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Slag throws a lazy head kick and Marley counters with a leg kick. Slag tries a head kick but it misses.
Marley tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Slag defends well and Marley ends up having to push Slag into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Come on Marley - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Slag is looking to take this one to the mat. Marley taking a breather. Marley jumps guard and drags Slag to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Slag gets to his feet - Marley follows without any prompting. Slag shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Slag fails in his attempt to clinch. Nice uppercut there from Marley.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marley moves into the clinch successfully.
Slag is trying to break the clinch but Marley is controlling him. Slag lands a hook that snaps the head of Marley backwards. Marley wants a takedown.
Marley is trying to pull guard but Slag turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Dodelike Slag has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Troy Marley. A bit of stalling here from Marley.
Marley tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Slag just stands there and leans against the cage. Marley tries a body shot but Slag blocks it.
Slag is trying to break the clinch but Marley has him pressed against the cage. Slag is trying to force a seperation but Marley has the dominant position. Marley is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Marley jumps into guard, dragging Slag to the mat.

Marley keeping full guard, as Slag tries to pass. Marley looking to hit a scissor sweep but Slag is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slag postures up in Marley's guard and throws a big left but Marley blocks it. Marley is trying to keep Slag in close.
Marley has his foot on Slag's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Slag works his way back into a safe position though. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Marley is on top in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action! Slag is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Marley postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Slag is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Marley, into his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slag trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Marley preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Slag has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Marley is proving hard to escape from. Marley has Slag pulled in close to control his posture. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marley keeping full guard, as Slag tries to pass. Slag preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Marley stops Slag from standing up. Marley in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Slag is breathing heavily. Marley gets to his feet. Slag looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Marley misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Slag shoots in and drives through. Marley sprawls well. Slag throws a low kick, looking for Marley's leg but Marley calmly moves out of range. Marley looks for a takedown but Slag sprawls well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Troy Marley will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Slag misses with a head kick.
Marley avoids a punch combination nicely.
Slag tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Marley counters with a good, hard body kick but Slag shrugs it off. Slag tries to close the distance and clinch but Marley swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Marley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Slag sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Marley somewhat. Slag fails in his attempt to clinch. Slag moves to clinch but Marley breaks away and Marley counters with an inside leg kick. Marley misses with a jab, cross combination.
Marley tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Slag defends well and Marley ends up having to push Slag into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slag wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Marley jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Slag walks away with a smile on his face. Marley gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Dodelike Slag has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Troy Marley. Slag tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Marley paws at him with a jab and circles away. Marley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Marley is breathing heavily. Marley looks to score with a jab to the body but Slag is just out of range. Dodelike Slag seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Slag throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Marley. Slag tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Marley manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Slag has a takedown stuffed. Marley darts in looking for a takedown but Slag gets double underhooks and turns Marley into the cage. Marley can't get the takedown.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Marley gets in close and instigates a clinch. Marley manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Slag throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Marley avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Slag wanted to stand there but Marley had control of the position. Slag has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Marley trying to control the position.
Slag is looking to stand up but Marley won't let him. Troy Marley has got the better of the ground game so far. Marley is looking for a triangle but Slag pushes his legs off easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Slag wants to stand but Marley is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marley pushes Slag off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Slag shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Marley pinned against the cage. Marley gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Marley shoots in for a double leg but Slag sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Marley lands the left hand. Marley misses with a double jab.
Slag stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Slag wants it to stay on the feet. Slag throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slag wants to clinch up but Marley keeps it at a distance. Slag thuds his right hand into Marley's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Slag lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Slag. Marley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Slag pinned against the cage. Slag gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Slag tries to clinch but Marley is having none of it. Marley shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Slag but Slag pushes him off and we're back to square one. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Slag scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Slag scores with a jab. Marley acknowledges it with a nod of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Dodelike Slag will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Slag wants to clinch. Marley avoids the head kick by Slag.
Slag defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Marley. Slag tries to keep at a distance but Marley has taken the fight into the clinch. Slag is trying to break free. Slag is trying to break the clinch but Marley has him pressed against the cage. Marley gets through Slag's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Slag is trying to break free. Slag is trying to pull guard but Marley turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Marley is looking to take this one to the mat. Slag is leaning against Marley and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Slag is looking to control Marley's arms but Marley gets an underhook and turns him. Now Slag has his back to the cage. Marley lands a right hand that snaps the head of Slag backwards. Marley drops down looking for an ankle pick but Slag pulls his leg out and moves away.
Dodelike Slag has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Troy Marley. Marley swats away the attempt to clinch by Slag. Slag tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Marley is able to avoid easily. Marley gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Slag to score an easy takedown into full guard. Slag is looking to work some ground and pound but Marley has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slag throwing strikes but missing. Slag trying to control the position from guard on top but Marley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Marley is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Slag postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Marley is controlling Slag's posture. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Marley working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Slag.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Troy Marley. Marley throws a series of strikes that have Slag backpedaling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slag throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Marley's waist but Marley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Slag off to one side. Marley fails with the takedown. Marley avoids the body shot from Slag.
Marley misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Marley shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Slag but Slag pushes him off and we're back to square one. Slag clinches. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Slag wants to get back to striking at distance but Marley won't allow it.
Slag breaks the clinch.
Slag lands with a nice combination. Marley backs away looking to recover.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dodelike Slag. I think Slag has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
