Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wolf Flow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan DePloi! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DePloi doesn't succeed with the takedown and Flow counters with a takedown into side control. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Flow tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. DePloi is positioning himself to get back to half guard. DePloi struggling a bit here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Flow wants to stand but DePloi is controlling his arm. DePloi is trying to control Flow's posture but Flow avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. DePloi is looking to regain half guard here but Flow keeps moving and retains side control. Flow tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. You can see the frustration on DePloi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. DePloi is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Flow's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. DePloi looking for submissions off his back.

DePloi is looking for a sweep. Flow is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. DePloi is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Flow pulls his head out easily. DePloi is trying to get back to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. DePloi wants to get back to full guard. DePloi regains full guard. Nicely done. Flow really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. DePloi is looking to cinch up a triangle. Flow throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to DePloi's body to avoid the submission. DePloi has instead reached around Flow's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! DePloi arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
