Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Simo Haya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Omen Scribe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Simo Haya has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Simo Haya seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Haya.
A combination from Scribe does no damage.
Scribe ducks under a wild hook from Haya.
Scribe closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Haya to the mat! Haya manages to get full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Haya looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Scribe puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like Scribe might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Omen Scribe hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Haya checks the leg kick nicely there.
Simo Haya is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Scribe throws a big shot that misses.
Scribe with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Haya to score with a decent uppercut.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Scribe fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Haya lands with a nice body punch.

Omen Scribe dominated that round.
That's time! Haya's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Haya crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Scribe - the referee stops the clock and Haya gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Scribe. Haya manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Scribe shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Haya is trying to defend but Scribe finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Haya feints a jab promting Scribe to slip. Haya then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Scribe slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

We've been informed that Scribe has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Scribe throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Haya.

Scribe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Scribe throws a right hand that Haya ducks under and follows up with a left that Haya also avoids with ease.

Scribe ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Haya moves away.

Omen Scribe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Haya chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Scribe can pounce on him.

Good leg kick by Scribe there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Scribe dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Haya. That did some damage!

Scribe fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Scribe lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Haya circles away quickly and effectively.
And that's the end of the fight!
Omen Scribe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Scribe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
