Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Roderick Woodward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Yeboah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roderick Woodward! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dennis Yeboah! The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Ron Honeybunn and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yeboah darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Yeboah is trying to control the action in half guard but Woodward is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Yeboah is trying to work for a kimura but Woodward is defending well.
Yeboah landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Woodward wants to get back to full guard. Yeboah takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yeboah wants to take a breather but Woodward is having none of it. Woodward is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Yeboah stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Woodward to get to his feet. Woodward with a lazy takedown attempt and Yeboah counters with an outside leg kick.
Yeboah closes the distance and clinches. A battle for position here, against the cage. Yeboah is looking for a takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Woodward breaks the clinch.
Woodward keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Yeboah shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Woodward as he jumps to the side. Roderick Woodward has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dennis Yeboah. Yeboah lands a right hook to the body.
Yeboah moves into the clinch successfully.
Yeboah tries to pull guard but Woodward won't allow it.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Yeboah is trying to break the clinch but Woodward has him pressed against the cage. Yeboah pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Yeboah dives in and scores a takedown into Woodward's guard. Yeboah slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Woodward. Woodward tries to get to full guard but Yeboah has control of the leg. Yeboah is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Woodward wants to control the action here but instead Yeboah manages to pass to full mount! Yeboah thowing shots but they're missing. Woodward can't escape the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Yeboah goes for an armbar but Woodward turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Woodward. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Woodward works over Yeboah with some ground and pound from guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dennis Yeboah dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Yeboah defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Woodward. Yeboah gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Yeboah drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Yeboah stalls. Yeboah drags the fight down to the ground.
Woodward decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Yeboah, up you get!
That's one minute gone in the round. Yeboah gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Woodward counters by moving into the clinch. Woodward misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Yeboah changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Woodward fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Roderick Woodward has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dennis Yeboah. Woodward blocks a head kick by Yeboah.
Yeboah scores with a takedown into Woodward's guard. Yeboah stopping the sweep attempt from Woodward.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Woodward has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Yeboah is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Yeboah tries to pull guard but Woodward won't allow it.
Yeboah has had enough of the clinch but Woodward keeps him there for the moment. Yeboah fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Yeboah changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Woodward fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Woodward shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Yeboah is trying to defend but Woodward finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Yeboah is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Woodward is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Yeboah defends it well. Yeboah tries to roll over but Woodward keeps him under control. Yeboah works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yeboah controls Woodward momentarily but Woodward frees himself. Yeboah lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Woodward! Woodward manages to regain half guard. Good work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yeboah drives through with a takedown into Woodward's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Yeboah trying to control the position from guard on top but Woodward is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Yeboah pushing down on Woodward's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Yeboah moves into full mount! Woodward won't be happy about that! Woodward really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Yeboah thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
That's one minute gone in the round. Yeboah fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Yeboah throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Woodward because Yeboah loaded up on that one. Yeboah has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Woodward's face.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Yeboah is stalling here but it's allowed Woodward to get half guard.
Yeboah trying to pass the guard but Woodward defending well. Yeboah moves into full mount! Woodward won't be happy about that! Yeboah can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Woodward is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Woodward is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Yeboah is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Woodward has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Woodward! Woodward with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yeboah is trying to keep Woodward in close.
Woodward missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Yeboah is controlling Woodward's posture. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Yeboah looking for a sweep. Not yet Yeboah, not yet. Yeboah looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Woodward passes into half guard.
Roderick Woodward has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dennis Yeboah is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Woodward is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Dennis Yeboah comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Yeboah has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
