Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jeffries waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Ford. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Ford to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
It looks like Billy Ford has been cut.
Ford looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jeffries has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ford is proving hard to escape from.
Jeffries really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ford. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ford is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jeffries trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ford's guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Jeffries misses with a wild combination.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jeffries throws a nice looking combination but Ford bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
BOOM! Jeffries lands a beautiful left hook that drops Ford. Ford tries to recover but Jeffries is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Ford lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dock Jeffries!
