Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Riku Yong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mats Sundin Smit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Riku Yong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mats Sundin Smit! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smit checks a low kick from Yong. Smit moves in looking to clinch but Yong pushes him off. Smit misses with a head kick.
Yong wants to clinch but Smit slips to the side and Smit counters with a flying knee. Nice. Yong is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Smit pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Yong tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Smit manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Yong tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Smit leaves Yong with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Smit scores with a head kick.
It looks like Riku Yong has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Yong fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Smit throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Yong's head.

Yong tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Smit defends well and Yong ends up having to push Smit into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Yong is trying to push Smit away but Smit has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Yong takes an elbow to the temple. Smit misses with a knee strike.

Yong connects with a good right hand that stumbles Smit. Smit circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yong doesn't succeed with the takedown and Smit counters with a flying knee. Nice. The fight moves into the clinch position. Smit lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Yong backwards. Smit connects with a nasty looking knee right to Yong's face.

Yong takes an elbow to the temple. Smit gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Yong throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Mats Sundin Smit showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Riku Yong's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Smit breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Smit has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Smit tries to clinch there but Yong circles away.
Yong shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Smit as he avoids it easily. Yong tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Smit swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Riku Yong. That's going to take a lot out of him. Yong throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Smit counters with a head kick that drops Yong to the mat! Yong scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Yong is rocked! This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Yong. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Smit feints a jab and as Yong dips his head, Smit unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Yong right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Yong falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Smit smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Mats Sundin Smit! Mats Sundin Smit decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
