Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brutues Longtomeo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Wimms (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brutues Longtomeo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jim Wimms!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wimms ducks under a wild hook from Longtomeo.
Longtomeo throws a leg kick but Wimms sees it coming and moves out of range.
Wimms drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Longtomeo looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Longtomeo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Wimms not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Longtomeo wants to sweep but no luck.
Wimms controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Longtomeo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Longtomeo tries to get out of the position.
Wimms's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jim Wimms.

Longtomeo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Wimms defends well and Longtomeo ends up having to push Wimms into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Longtomeo tries to pull guard but Wimms forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Longtomeo is breathing heavily.
Longtomeo has Wimms pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wimms manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brutues Longtomeo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wimms lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Wimms moves into full mount! Longtomeo won't be happy about that!

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jim Wimms wasn't active enough on the ground.
Wimms throws an overhand right that lands on Longtomeo's shoulder, as Longtomeo tries to avoid the shot.
A swing and a miss from Wimms.

Wimms gets a clinch.

Longtomeo wants to take the fight to the mat but Wimms manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Wimms lands a left hand.
Wimms is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Longtomeo can't fight it off and eventually Wimms manages to take the fight to the floor. Longtomeo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Longtomeo is looking to stand back up but Wimms counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Longtomeo.
Wimms is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Longtomeo!
Wimms controlling the pace for now.
Wimms punching from mount but Longtomeo doing a good job of avoiding damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Longtomeo has given up his back here. Will Wimms look for the submission or keep pounding away?

Wimms working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Longtomeo is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Wimms has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Longtomeo taps out!
