Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jim Duggan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Izudin Han (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Duggan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Izudin Han! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Dean Styles and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Han throws a leg kick but Duggan checks it. Duggan shoots for a double leg takedown but Han sprawls well. He's pushed Duggan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Duggan avoids the head kick by Han.
Han throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Han throws a low kick but Duggan moves out of range easily. Some bone on bone action there as Duggan checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Duggan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Han avoids it really well and circles away. Duggan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Han manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Duggan trying to control the position from guard on top but Han is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Duggan is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Han is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Han has escaped and now he's on top! Duggan has a closed guard, preventing Han from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duggan has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Han is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Duggan. Duggan tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Han presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Han is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Duggan checks a leg kick nicely. Han misses with a head kick.
Han is looking to score with low kicks. Han will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Han throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Izudin Han is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Duggan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Han circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Duggan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Han is looking to score with low kicks. Han pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Han uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Duggan. Duggan checks the leg kick nicely there.

Duggan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Duggan is breathing heavily. Duggan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Han, who protects the arm well. Han is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Duggan is controlling him well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Duggan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Han keeps working. Duggan tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Duggan trying to control the action but Han is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Izudin Han will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Han tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Han lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Duggan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Duggan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. A head kick misses from Han. Han throws a head kick that misses. Han finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Han throws a head kick that misses. Izudin Han seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Han is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duggan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Han defends it nicely. Duggan drives through with a takedown into guard. Duggan wants to control from the top but Han keeps moving. Duggan looking to sit in guard and control but Han gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duggan working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Han has passed into half guard!
Duggan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Han pulls his head out easily. Han stands up out of the half guard.

Han throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Duggan checks a leg kick nicely. Han pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Izudin Han showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Duggan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Duggan trying to control the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duggan looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Han tries to kick Duggan off but Duggan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A swing and a miss from Duggan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Nice sprawl there from Han as Duggan shoots in. Han throws a leg kick but Duggan moved away. Duggan blocks a leg kick. Duggan keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Izudin Han seems to be getting the better of the standup. A head kick misses from Han. Duggan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Han as he jumps to the side. Han pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Duggan goes for a double leg but Han avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Han continues to drive forward. Han can't break the clinch.
Han wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Duggan has him pressed against the cage. Han is fighting off a takedown attempt but Duggan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Han to the mat. Han regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Duggan drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Han dives on top into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Duggan wants to sweep but no luck. Duggan is trying to keep Han in close.
Han is looking to stand up but Duggan won't let him. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Duggan is pulling down on Han's head. It's preventing any offense from Han, at least for the moment. Jim Duggan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Duggan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jim Duggan wasn't doing enough on the ground. A head kick misses from Han.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jim Duggan. I think Han has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
