The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem moves in looking to clinch but Esteban pushes him off.
Overeem moves into the clinch.
Esteban tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Overeem avoids it.
Overeem is pressed up against the cage. Esteban has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Overeem down to the mat. Overeem avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Overeem tries to clinch up but Esteban circles away and keeps his distance.
Esteban swats away the attempt to clinch by Overeem.
Overeem takes the fight into the clinch.
Esteban is trying to push Overeem away but Overeem has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Overeem just misses with a elbow thrown towards Esteban's brow.
Esteban avoids the elbow strike from Overeem, against the cage.
Overeem throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Esteban takes an elbow to the temple.
Esteban blocks the elbow strike.
Overeem blocks a body shot from Esteban.
Overeem lands an elbow just above Esteban 's eye.
It looks like Martin Esteban has been cut.
Esteban working hard to break the clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Overeem just misses with a elbow thrown towards Esteban's brow.

Overeem looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Esteban has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Overeem avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Esteban is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Overeem lands a damaging elbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Esteban is trying to pull guard but Overeem has him pressed against the cage.
Badr Overeem has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Martin Esteban.
Overeem has Esteban pressed against the cage. He pushes Esteban back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Overeem throws a beautiful elbow that sends Esteban crashing to the floor! Overeem piles on the pressure with more strikes! Esteban is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
