The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abramovic tries for a takedown but Speight circles away easily
and Speight counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Speight must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Abramovic goes for a double leg but Speight avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Speight continues to drive forward.
Abramovic tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Speight smiles and moves away.
Speight has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Let's hope that Speight has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
David Speight is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Abramovic tries to buck Speight off but Speight is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Abramovic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Speight tries to avoid it but Abramovic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Speight to the ground. Speight escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Speight throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Abramovic tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Speight is in Abramovic's guard.

David Speight comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Speight has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
