Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beck wants to clinch up but Thigpen keeps it at a distance.
Thigpen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Thigpen has taken the fight to the clinch.
Beck tries to score a body lock takedown but Thigpen shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Thigpen tries to stall but Beck uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Thigpen has Beck pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Thigpen pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Beck tumbling to the mat - Thigpen dives into Beck's guard.
Beck is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Thigpen defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Beck has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Thigpen gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Thigpen can't find room to land a body shot as Beck controls the action.
Beck has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Thigpen after a bit of a struggle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Thigpen is trying to break the clinch but Beck is controlling him.
Thigpen breaks from the clinch.
Thigpen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Beck is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Thigpen tries to free his leg and advance position but Beck is retaining full guard.
Beck is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Thigpen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
