Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Huey Randolph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petre Ozbek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Petre Ozbek!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ozbek gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Randolph gets to his feet - Ozbek follows without any prompting.
Ozbek cracks Randolph with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Randolph tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ozbek sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Randolph somewhat.

Randolph tries to keep at a distance but Ozbek has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ozbek prevents a takedown attempt there.

Ozbek's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Randolph leaves Ozbek with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ozbek closes the distance and lands a one-two.


It looks like Huey Randolph has been cut.

Randolph misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ozbek.

and Randolph takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Randolph stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Randolph wants it to stay on the feet.
Randolph tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Ozbek manages to circle out of the way.

Randolph has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ozbek is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Randolph tries to pull guard but Ozbek holds him up against the cage and eventually Randolph drops back down to his feet.
Randolph tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Randolph jumps guard but Ozbek stands there with Randolph around his waist. Randolph gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ozbek is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Randolph pulls him back up using the underhooks.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Randolph pulls guard effortlessly.
Ozbek throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Randolph works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Ozbek controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Ozbek trying to control the position from guard on top but Randolph is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Ozbek stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Randolph swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Randolph will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Randolph is trying to control the position but Ozbek postures up.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Ozbek working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Ozbek has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Randolph uses from the top position.

Petre Ozbek showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

As Ozbek tries to get set, Randolph tries to push him back and clinch up but Ozbek manages to avoid the attempt.

Randolph's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Ozbek slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Randolph has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Ozbek is looking to work some ground and pound but Randolph has wrist control.

Huey Randolph showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Ozbek has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
