Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Topper Green and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernardo throws a body punch but Parr moves out of range.
Parr swings widly with a right hand
and Bernardo counters by moving into the clinch.
Parr manages to break the clinch.
Parr keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bernardo.
Parr throws out a counter right but Bernardo avoids it with no problem.
Bernardo avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Parr throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jab by Bernardo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parr throws an overhand right that lands on Bernardo's shoulder, as Bernardo tries to avoid the shot.
Bernardo shoots in and bounces Parr off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Bernardo is stalling in the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bernardo passes Parr's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Bernardo wants to control but Parr is keeping him busy.
Bernardo is controlling the pace.
Bernardo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bernardo uses his free foot to push down on Parr's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Parr.
Parr has left one of his arms exposed and Bernardo doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Parr screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Bernardo Bernardo!
Our winner, Bernardo Bernardo, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
