Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Weston Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Manley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Weston Hernandez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Manley! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Manley throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Hernandez counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Manley! Manley tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hernandez wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Manley wants to control but Hernandez postures up. Manley is not content to let Hernandez control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Manley wants to control but Hernandez postures up. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Manley is looking to get back to his feet here but Hernandez is keeping cool and he's managed to take Manley's back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Manley looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. What can Manley do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Hernandez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Manley is trying to stand back up. Manley is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Hernandez gets his way!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Manley can't escape the position.
Manley is still trying to improve position. Hernandez misses with a punch to the head. Manley trying to control the hands but Hernandez won't let him. Manley trying to get back to his feet but Hernandez is in full control for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Manley trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Manley trying to get back to his feet but Hernandez is in full control for now. Hernandez has the hooks in. Manley is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Manley rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Hernandez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hernandez prevents Manley from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Manley pushes Hernandez off looking to stand but Hernandez dives back in and keeps control.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Manley fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hernandez avoids it really well and circles away. Manley throws a wild body kick that Hernandez sees coming a mile off. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Manley tries to clinch but Hernandez is having none of it. The fight stays on the outside here - Manley looks like he's thinking about clinching though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Weston Hernandez dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Manley lands the left hand. Hernandez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Manley was well out of range. Poor timing from Hernandez. Manley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hernandez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Manley somewhat. Manley throws the kick towards the body but Hernandez avoids it. Hernandez looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Scott Manley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Manley lands with a nice combination. Hernandez backs away looking to recover. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice uppercut lands for Manley. That snapped Hernandez's head back.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hernandez throws a wild hook but Manley just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Hernandez gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Manley raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scott Manley!
