Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emmitt Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mw Skuller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Emmitt Dixon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mw Skuller! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dixon gets caught flat footed, as Skuller shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Dixon preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Dixon working for a triangle but Skuller defends it easily.

Skuller throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dixon trying to strike off his back.
Skuller trying to control the position from guard on top but Dixon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Skuller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Skuller wants to stand but Dixon is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skuller with a flurry of punches that miss. Dixon trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Skuller closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dixon quickly recovers to half guard. Skuller is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Dixon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Dixon looking for submissions off his back. Dixon wants to get back to full guard. Skuller wants to stand up but Dixon has a hold of him and won't allow it. Dixon punching from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dixon is looking to get back to full guard here but Skuller has managed to pass to side control instead. Skuller throwing strikes but Dixon manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Dixon wants to control but Skuller is keeping him busy. Dixon is really struggling to control Skuller but he's trying to hold on to the position. Dixon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Skuller on the ground. Dixon in side control, throwing shots but Skuller defends.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skuller regains half guard there - taking advantage of Dixon's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Skuller is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Skuller makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Skuller. Dixon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Skuller works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Skuller had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dixon defends it easily. Skuller is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dixon is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Skuller keeping moving, preventing Dixon from controlling successfully. Skuller controlling Dixon's posture. Dixon wants to control from the top but Skuller keeps moving. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Skuller wants to stand and escape but Dixon is having none of it. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mw Skuller dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Skuller closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Skuller sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Dixon is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Dixon tries to get back to half guard but can't. Dixon manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Skuller is working for a submission of some sort.
Skuller wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dixon keeps working. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Skuller is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Dixon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Dixon is looking for a sweep. Skuller is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skuller wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dixon keeps working. Skuller misses with a head shot. Dixon uses the momentum to regain guard. Skuller wants to stand but Dixon has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Dixon trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Skuller throws an elbow that misses. Dixon uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Skuller's guard. Nice move by Dixon! Skuller keeping moving, preventing Dixon from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Skuller looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Dixon controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Dixon is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Skuller working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dixon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dixon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dixon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Skuller keeping moving, preventing Dixon from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dixon not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Skuller throws a wild body kick that Dixon sees coming a mile off. Dixon is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Skuller. Mw Skuller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Skuller gets a double leg takedown into Dixon's guard. Skuller is breathing heavily. Dixon is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Skuller is aware though and is defending well. Skuller with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Dixon throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Dixon wants to sweep but no luck. Dixon trying to strike off his back.
Dixon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Skuller gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Skuller won't allow Dixon to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skuller in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Dixon looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Skuller working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Dixon's head. Skuller lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Skuller working some strikes from top position. Dixon is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Dixon looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Skuller passes into half guard.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dixon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Skuller looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's better than Skuller was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Skuller takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Skuller creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Dixon sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Skuller lands a nice forearm strike. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dixon is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Skuller wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dixon keeps working. Dixon tries to bench press Skuller off him but Skuller keeps the position. Skuller wants to stand but Dixon is controlling his arm. Skuller scores with a couple of short elbows. Dixon gets back to half guard. Dixon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dixon is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Skuller's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Skuller's back! Skuller trying to control the action but Dixon just sinks the hooks in. Dixon tries to keep control of the position but Skuller is staying busy. Dixon looking to break Skuller's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Skuller remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Dixon will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Skuller has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Dixon tries to keep control of the position but Skuller is staying busy. Skuller has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Skuller grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Skuller trying to control the action but Dixon just sinks the hooks in. Dixon slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skuller tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Dixon prevents Skuller from getting the reversal. Dixon swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Skuller is now in Dixon's guard. A big mistake from Dixon there, giving up the dominant position! Skuller working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Dixon looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Skuller trying to control the position from guard on top but Dixon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Emmitt Dixon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mw Skuller is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Skuller slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Mw Skuller. Well Skuller has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
