Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Freddy De Kerpel!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns with a poor takedown
and De Kerpel makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
De Kerpel dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sloppy strikes from De Kerpel. Those never looked like landing.
De Kerpel punishes Burns's body with a nice straight punch.
De Kerpel throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Burns drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
De Kerpel is wriggling around but Burns manages to pass to half guard.
Burns prevents De Kerpel from standing back up.
Burns decides to return to a standing position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
De Kerpel misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Burns shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has De Kerpel pinned against the cage. De Kerpel gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A nice side step and De Kerpel releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
De Kerpel scores with a sloppy right hand. Burns should have avoided that one.
It looks like Sang Burns has been cut.
De Kerpel is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Burns rather than just go for the knockout.
Burns is aggressively charging in as De Kerpel backs up avoiding any damage. De Kerpel tosses out a jab and Burns runs right into it face first! Burns is out cold! De Kerpel dropped down on all fours and is barking in Burns's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
