Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Kyznetsov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Nikolson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Yuri Kyznetsov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tom Nikolson! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Nikolson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. It looked like Kyznetsov was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Kyznetsov has Nikolson up against the cage in a clinch.
Kyznetsov turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Kyznetsov working the body and head with strikes. Nikolson is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kyznetsov's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Nikolson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nikolson trying to hold on to Kyznetsov's head to control him but Kyznetsov postures up.
Kyznetsov is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nikolson is staying active underneath Kyznetsov, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Nikolson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Nikolson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kyznetsov looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Kyznetsov gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Tom Nikolson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kyznetsov closes the distance and pushes Nikolson back into the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kyznetsov jumps into guard, dragging Nikolson to the mat.
Nikolson wants to pass the guard but Kyznetsov is keeping the position. Nikolson drops back looking for a leg! Kyznetsov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kyznetsov manages to kick Nikolson off! Nikolson jumps back into Kyznetsov's guard. Kyznetsov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Nikolson defends well. Nikolson is looking to stand up but Kyznetsov won't let him. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kyznetsov keeping moving, preventing Nikolson from controlling successfully. Kyznetsov wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nikolson drops back looking for a leg! Kyznetsov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kyznetsov manages to kick Nikolson off! Nikolson jumps back into Kyznetsov's guard. Nikolson has gone for a leg lock! Kyznetsov slips out almost immediately though and dives into Nikolson's guard.
Nikolson has his feet on Kyznetsov's thighs here. He's pushed Kyznetsov off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Kyznetsov screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
