Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
34 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Christopher Binse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kenny McCormick! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCormick uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Binse has time to react. Binse has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD Amsterdam Gym in the buildup to the fight. McCormick tests Binse's chin there with a solid looking shot. Binse pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McCormick fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Binse lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Binse tries to clinch up but McCormick circles away and keeps his distance. McCormick missing with a left hand there. Binse was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Binse wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Binse needs to keep his hands up - McCormick had a free shot at his head there. McCormick lands a nice shot that snaps Binse's head back.

and Binse counters with a slapping leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCormick cracks Binse with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Binse tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but McCormick pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Binse is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kenny McCormick! Kenny McCormick seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
