The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glass closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Glass is pressing down on Boondocks's thigh, looking to free his foot. Boondocks is holding on for now.
Boondocks tries to kick Glass off but Glass keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Glass trying to pass the guard but Boondocks defending well.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Boondocks is doing well to control the position and prevent Glass from advancing to side control.
Boondocks wants to get back to full guard.
Glass missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Boondocks pushes Glass off looking to stand but Glass dives back in and keeps control.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Boondocks checks a low kick from Glass.
Glass takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Glass walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
It looks like Frank Glass has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice body punch from Boondocks.
Boondocks throws a leg kick which misses Glass's front leg but catches the back leg as Glass tries to avoid it.
Boondocks misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Boondocks scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Boondocks scores with a jab. Glass acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
No joy there for Boondocks, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Frank Glass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boondocks stuffs the takedown attempt from Glass. Glass gets slowly back to his feet.

Glass takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Boondocks lands with a hook. Glass tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The cut above Frank Glass's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Boondocks lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Glass circles away quickly and effectively.

Boondocks scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Boondocks clinches up with Glass and pushes him back against the ropes.
Boondocks with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Glass is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Boondocks gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Boondocks tries a knee to the head but Glass blocks it.
Boondocks unloads a knee to the mid-section. Glass lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Boondocks breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Boondocks lands with a slapping head kick.
Frank Glass's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Glass shoots for a double leg takedown but Boondocks sprawls well. He's pushed Glass's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Billy Boondocks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Glass.
Boondocks scores with a three punch combo!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Boondocks, right into the meat.
Glass takes a shot right to the bread basket.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Frank Glass's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
