Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AG Quiapon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quiapon has chosen CIRCLE - Synclan as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Riley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, AG Quiapon! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jonathan Paton and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riley fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Riley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Quiapon pinned against the cage. Quiapon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Riley sets himself, and Quiapon steps forward looking for the clinch! Riley avoids it this time. Quiapon throws a leg kick that is checked and Riley counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Riley engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Riley is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. We've been hearing that Riley has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quiapon looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Riley passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Riley content to control rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riley lands strikes from half guard. Riley is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Quiapon defends it well. Riley seems to be working for a kimura but Quiapon defends the submission attempt. Riley is looking for a kimura but Quiapon is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Riley to get the leverage. Riley tries to pass to full mount but Quiapon defends it. Quiapon wants to control but Riley is keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Riley is working for a kimura but Quiapon is defending it quite comfortably.
Riley is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Riley passes the guard and advances to mount! Riley looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quiapon wants to hold on but Riley pushes him away. Riley tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Riley is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Quiapon has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Quiapon is in a horrible position here. Riley smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Riley working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Quiapon working to try and regain half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Quiapon is in all sorts of trouble here.
Riley is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Quiapon is surviving well by controlling Riley's body position as best he can. Riley is working for a guillotine from mount but Quiapon frees his head quite easily.
Quiapon is looking to get to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Riley tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Quiapon takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Riley dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Riley fails with a takedown attempt. Quiapon wants to counter the offense by Riley and move into the clinch position. Quiapon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Riley paws at him with a jab and circles away. Quiapon has his takedown stuffed and Riley counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Riley. Riley pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Quiapon is keeping the position for now. Quiapon trying to keep a closed guard but Riley is proving a slippery customer.
Quiapon looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Riley thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Riley not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's one minute gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Riley wants to control from the top but Quiapon keeps moving.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Riley looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Quiapon is trying to escape back to his feet but Riley uses the scramble to pass into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Riley wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Quiapon, who protects the arm well. Riley is trying to get an arm triangle but Quiapon is defending well. Quiapon tries to bench press Riley off him but Riley keeps the position. Riley tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Riley tries for a kimura but Quiapon is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quiapon takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Riley is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Quiapon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Riley prevents Quiapon from escaping the position. Riley working the head and body with strikes. Riley is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Quiapon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Quiapon is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Riley gets to mount! Quiapon was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Riley has hold of Quiapon's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Quiapon manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Riley get's back to his feet. Riley closes this distance looking for a takedown but Quiapon circles away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Riley dives in and grabs Quiapon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Quiapon pushes down on Riley's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Riley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Riley closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Tony Riley overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Riley is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Quiapon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Riley dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Quiapon wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Riley is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Quiapon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Riley darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Quiapon is trying to stand back up but Riley is controlling him

Riley maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Quiapon could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Riley has cracked it and Quiapon is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Riley!
