Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sami Hyypia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rockford Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hyypia comes to the cage accompanied by Al Bowlly - Hang out the stars in Indiana. Knight is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Stars that Play with Laughing Sams Dice by Jimi Hendrix. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight throws a leg kick which misses Hyypia's front leg but catches the back leg as Hyypia tries to avoid it.
Hyypia avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Knight staying out of range there.
Hyypia takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Knight smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Knight lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A head kick misses from Hyypia.
Hyypia moves out of range of the body kick from Knight.
Good leg kick by Knight there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Knight counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hyypia's knee momentarily.
Hyypia fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hyypia lands with a hook. Knight tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Rockford Knight has been cut.
Hyypia tries to close the distance and clinch up but Knight swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Knight cracks Hyypia with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Knight swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hyypia counters with a stiff right hand.
Knight throws an overhand right that lands on Hyypia's shoulder, as Hyypia tries to avoid the shot.
Hyypia defending well as Knight loads up on a big left hand.

Knight swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Knight scores with a head kick.
Knight fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hyypia.
Knight walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hyypia checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Knight feints and then cracks Hyypia's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hyypia down.

Hyypia looks to score with a jab to the body but Knight is just out of range.
Hyypia takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Knight misses with a low kick.
Knight throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Knight feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hyypia's calf.
A jab from Knight does it's job there.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Knight lands a nice looking kick to the body. Hyypia takes a step back to recover.

Knight lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Knight connects with a leg kick. Hyypia looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Some wild striking there from Knight.
Hyypia is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Hyypia lands a jab to Knight's midsection.

Hyypia swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That has opened up Rockford Knight's cut even more.

and Knight counters with a right hand to the body.
Hyypia walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Knight checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Hyypia takes a jab right on the kisser.
Hyypia rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Knight moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A nice inside leg kick there by Knight. That's going to slow Hyypia down.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
