And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Arillo scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Ramirez is trying to control Arillo's posture but Arillo avoids it.

Ramirez has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Arillo wants to get back to his feet.

Ramirez sneaks out the side door and pushes Arillo away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Arillo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Arillo closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ramirez's guard.
Ramirez wants to sweep but no luck.

Arillo gets to his feet. Ramirez looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Arillo rushes Ramirez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Arillo is trying to break the clinch but Ramirez is controlling him.
Ramirez wants to take the fight to the mat but Arillo manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Arillo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Arillo pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Nice straight punches there by Arillo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Arillo.

Kevin Arillo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Ramirez has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Arillo is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Arillo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

I would just about give that final round to Kevin Arillo.
