Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Rodgers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spider Rico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodgers comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Wayne - Moment. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rico staying out of range there.
Rico looks to score with a jab to the body but Rodgers is just out of range.
Rico just misses with a punch to the body.

Spider Rico seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rodgers tries to bum rush Rico with a series of wild strikes but Rico uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Rico makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Rodgers tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rico's elbow.

Rico has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Rodgers uses from the top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Rico looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Rico bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Rico throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rodgers sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rodgers was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

and Rodgers connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Rodgers sends Rico crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rodgers is motioning to the referee to let Rico up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rico leaves his chin hanging out and Rodgers seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Rico crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Anthony Rodgers!
A very excited looking Anthony Rodgers rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
