Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michal Biszpink! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Von Dyer! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Biszpink doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Dyer connects with a right hand. Biszpink shakes it off. Biszpink on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A jab from Dyer does it's job there. Biszpink feints and as Dyer raises his hands in defense, Biszpink changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Biszpink with a flurry of punches that miss. Biszpink is looking to advance position but Dyer has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dyer tries to control but Biszpink wriggling away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dyer blocks Biszpink's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Biszpink tries to reverse the position but Dyer maintains control. Dyer looking to control but Biszpink is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Biszpink on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Biszpink tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Biszpink's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Dyer avoids the attempt from Biszpink to control. Biszpink gets back to half guard. Biszpink has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dyer wants to take a breather but Biszpink is having none of it. Biszpink looking for submissions off his back. Biszpink landing small, sideways elbows. Biszpink landing small, sideways elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Biszpink tries to get to full guard but Dyer has control of the leg. Biszpink manages to get to full guard.
Biszpink looking for a triangle here. Dyer is fighting it but it looks tight! Biszpink pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Dyer is tapping out - this one is all over!
