0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jin Ravek! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ravek drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Obrien keeping moving, preventing Ravek from controlling successfully. Obrien is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ravek trying to control the position from guard on top but Obrien is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Obrien wants to sweep but no luck. Obrien is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Obrien looking for a guillotine here but Ravek defends easily.

Obrien working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ravek doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ravek manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Ravek engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Obrien keeping moving, preventing Ravek from controlling successfully. Obrien is looking for a triangle but Ravek pushes his legs off easily.

Obrien is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ravek is aware though and is defending well. Obrien is trying to keep Ravek in close.
Ravek controls from within his opponent's guard. Obrien could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ravek wants to control from the top but Obrien keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ravek slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Ravek trying to control but Obrien is working from the bottom. Obrien is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Ravek rolls with it to try and escape but Obrien cranks on the arm and Ravek is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
