Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Josef Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pally Morrow!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Morrow stuffs the takedown attempt from Frost. Frost gets slowly back to his feet.
Morrow looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Morrow gets tackled into the cage by Frost. Frost maintains the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Morrow wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Frost has him pressed against the cage.
Frost's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Frost shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Morrow counters with a crisp right hand that drops Frost! Morrow lets Frost back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Josef Frost has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Frost changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Morrow tries to avoid it but Frost manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Morrow to the ground. Morrow escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Morrow! But no joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josef Frost. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Frost moves into the clinch.
Morrow tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Frost avoiding damage.
Morrow wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Frost has him pressed against the cage.
Come on Frost - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Frost is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Morrow is trying to push Frost away but Frost has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Frost has Morrow pressed against the cage.
Frost escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Frost shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Frost was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Morrow tries to buck Frost off but Frost is having none of it.
Morrow is still trying to improve position.
Frost is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Morrow's shoulder. That is not cool.
Morrow manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Frost is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Frost knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Morrow on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Morrow is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Frost stands up out of the half guard.
Frost misses with a takedown attempt - Morrow sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Morrow swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Frost fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Morrow avoids it really well and circles away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Morrow! But no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Frost shoots and misses
and Morrow scores with a counter punch that sends Frost to the canvas! Morrow smells blood - he's punishing Frost with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Frost has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pally Morrow!
During a confident post fight interview, Pally Morrow thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
