Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

17 - 13 - 1, fighting out of London, Chris Gunn! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McDonald tries to clinch and Gunn counters with a nice uppercut. McDonald scores with a nice head shot. Gunn lands with a thumping leg kick.
Gunn tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Gunn walks into a left hand. We've been told by McDonald's head coaches at Death Valley Training Facility that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Gunn closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. A head kick from McDonald lands but Gunn takes it in his stride. McDonald delivers a nice body kick. McDonald tries to close the distance and clinch but Gunn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gunn blocks a head kick by McDonald.
Gunn throws out a counter right but McDonald avoids it with no problem. McDonald tries to clinch but fails miserably and Gunn counters with a stiff right hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McDonald wants to clinch up but Gunn keeps it at a distance. McDonald throws a poor cross that misses
and Gunn counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps McDonald thinking. McDonald throws a head kick that Gunn semi-blocks.
McDonald lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. McDonald throws a sloppy head kick and Gunn moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Decent striking displayed by Gunn there. McDonald feints and as Gunn raises his hands in defense, McDonald changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McDonald wants to control from the top but Gunn keeps moving. McDonald is really struggling to control Gunn but he's trying to hold on to the position. Gunn looking for a sweep. Not yet Gunn, not yet. McDonald content to stall in guard here. McDonald preventing the sweep. McDonald wants to control from the top but Gunn keeps moving. Gunn wants to sweep here but McDonald controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McDonald engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. McDonald doesn't manage to clinch there - Gunn circles away.
McDonald darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Gunn gets back to full guard.
McDonald not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. McDonald passes into half guard. Gunn gets back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McDonald's corner is telling him to maintain position. McDonald stopping the sweep attempt from Gunn. McDonald wants to pass the guard but Gunn is keeping the position. McDonald controls the pace of the fight for a moment. McDonald slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Gunn struggling a bit here. Gunn looking for a sweep but McDonald has passed into full mount! Oh no! McDonald controlling from the full mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gunn tries to reverse the position but McDonald maintains control. McDonald sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gunn is trying to escape the mount.
Gunn keeps trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ronnie McDonald dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
McDonald scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Gunn on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Ronnie McDonald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McDonald fails in his attempt to clinch. Ronnie McDonald is winning the standup battle so far. Gunn lands a two punch combo.
A head kick by McDonald misses and Gunn counters with a straight right hand.
McDonald is rocked! A swing and a miss from McDonald. Oh McDonald is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Gunn fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops McDonald to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! McDonald looks to clinch but Gunn throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! McDonald taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
