The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belliveau takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nice defenses there by Kurtz.
Belliveau takes a swing at Kurtz's ribcage but misses.
Belliveau throws a jab when Kurtz was well out of range.
Kurtz waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Belliveau.
Belliveau is looking to clinch.
Kurtz feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Belliveau's calf.
A low kick from Belliveau is predictable there

so Kurtz counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Kurtz wants to pass the guard but Belliveau is keeping the position.
Kurtz advances position into side control!

Kurtz is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Belliveau is trying to escape and Kurtz transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Belliveau is forced to tap! Nice work there by Kurtz! Very nice indeed!
