Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Jones scores with a nice strike.
Spider connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jones, as that shot connected.
Spider instigates a clinch.
Jones tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Jones misses with a punch on the inside.
Spider blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Spider lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Spider lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Spider drops Jones onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Jones is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Jones looks winded!
Spider scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Spider finish him?
Spider jumps guard.
Spider is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Spider manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jones manages to get himself to full guard.
Jones seems to have recovered his senses.
Spider decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jones, up you get!
Jones slips a jab from Spider.
Spider avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nice defenses there by Spider.
Spider has closed the distance and engaged Jones in a clinch.
Spider lands with a right to the head.
Spider drops Jones onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Jones is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Spider lands a nice shot to the body.
A left hand lands to the body for Spider.
Spider lands a right hand.
Spider lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Jones to his knees! Spider keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
