Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Norberto Mosley (ranked 6202 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Jones (ranked 24265 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Norberto Mosley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joseph Jones! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jones drives through and clinches with Mosley against the cage.
Jones is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Mosley to keep the fight standing. Jones pulls guard. Mosley might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jones wants to sweep here but Mosley controlling him for the moment. Mosley really is a fat lump. Jones is controlling Mosley's posture. Jones keeping moving, preventing Mosley from controlling successfully. Jones is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones has a closed guard, preventing Mosley from standing up. Mosley trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Mosley decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. That's one minute gone in the round. Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Mosley manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Norberto Mosley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joseph Jones. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mosley.

Joseph Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones shoots for a double leg takedown but Mosley sprawls well. He's pushed Jones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jones just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromMosley. Jones drives through and clinches with Mosley against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters circling - Mosley throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Jones darts in and clinches Mosley up against the cage. Mosley avoiding damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mosley can't keep his opponent in guard - Jones advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mosley keeping hold of Jones's head, controlling as best he can. Mosley is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jones pulls his head out easily. Mosley is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jones's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jones's back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mosley has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Jones's body.
Mosley is looking to control Jones but Jones is wriggling around and keeping busy. Jones rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Jones has hold of Mosley's hands but Mosley slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Mosley drops an elbow to the side of Jones's head. Jones is looking for a sweep. Mosley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Mosley wants to stand but Jones has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Jones is trying to get back to full guard. Mosley stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mosley is working away from the top position though. Mosley trying to mount his opponent but Jones defends it. Mosley is trying to control the action in half guard but Jones is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jones on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones wants to get back to full guard. Mosley working the head and body with strikes. Mosley half committed to a counter leg kick. Jones with a poor takedown and Mosley counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Jones manages to escape and get back to his feet! A quick step to the side and Mosley tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. This has been an exciting period of action! Mosley forces Jones back against the cage and clinches. Mosley breaks the clinch.
Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. It looked like Mosley was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Jones is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mosley instigates a clinch. Mosley pulls guard effortlessly. Mosley looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jones trying to control but Mosley is working from the bottom. Mosley not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mosley is on top in guard.

Mosley distracts Jones with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Mosley throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jones works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jones has a closed guard, preventing Mosley from standing up. Mosley throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Mosley trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Jones preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Jones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mosley avoids it really well and circles away. Jones just misses with a punch to the body.
Mosley tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Nice defenses there by Jones. Jones is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mosley sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mosley tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mosley to the ground. Mosley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jones throws a head kick that misses.

Jones tries to clinch up but Mosley circles away and keeps his distance. And Mosley counters with a quick kick to the body but Jones blocks it. Jones moves out of range as Mosley throws a body kick.
Mosley takes the fight into the clinch. Jones manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Jones wants to get back to his feet but Mosley is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mosley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Mosley feinted with a counter takedown. Mosley rushes Jones and presses him up against the cage.

Mosley is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jones defends well. Mosley working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Jones has passed into half guard!

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mosley has Jones pulled in close to control his posture. Joseph Jones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Norberto Mosley is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jones is looking to work some ground and pound but Mosley has wrist control.
