Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyndon Grant (ranked 5839 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tykivas Hullaby (ranked 6484 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Lyndon Grant has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Lyndon Grant seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grant gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Grant is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Hullaby presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Hullaby manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Grant controlling from the top position. Grant missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Grant's corner is telling him to maintain position. Grant could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Hullaby is trying to keep Grant in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Grant stays in close to Hullaby's body and controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hullaby escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Grant gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Grant sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Hullaby manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Grant on his heels. He'll look to pass Grant's guard now, I'm sure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grant wants to stand but Hullaby is controlling the position. Grant throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Hullaby stops Grant from standing up. Grant is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Grant not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Grant is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hullaby missing with punches from the bottom.
Grant lands strikes from half guard. Grant controlling the action here. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Grant lands a nice short elbow. Grant controlling the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Grant's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hullaby avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Grant.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hullaby connects with a crisp jab.
It looks like Lyndon Grant has been cut. Tykivas Hullaby is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Grant tries to clinch but Hullaby is having none of it. Hullaby steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Grant. Hullaby scores with a takedown into Grant's guard. Grant keeping full guard, as Hullaby tries to pass. Hullaby prevents Grant from getting back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grant bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hullaby's guard. Grant looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Grant throws a strike but Hullaby rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grant is looking to stand up but Hullaby isn't so interested in that idea. Grant is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hullaby defends well. Hullaby trying to control but Grant is working from the bottom. Hullaby stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Grant swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hullaby decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Grant avoids a kick to the body.
Hullaby manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Grant on his heels. He'll look to pass Grant's guard now, I'm sure. Grant has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Hullaby is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Grant's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hullaby throws a head kick that Grant semi-blocks.
Hullaby closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Grant tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grant is trying to stand back up. Grant manages to reverse the position and now he's in Hullaby's guard. Nice work there by Grant.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hullaby is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Grant postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Hullaby trying to control the position.
Hullaby bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Grant's guard.
Hullaby is breathing heavily. Grant looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Grant manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Lyndon Grant will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Lyndon Grant's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Hullaby looks to land a combination but Grant avoids it well. A counter left hand to the body from Grant misses its target. Grant shoots in but Hullaby avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hullaby throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Excellent takedown into side control there by Hullaby. Grant throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hullaby avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Grant moves out of range of the body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grant shoots in for a takedown but Hullaby shows good takedown defense. Hullaby drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Grant defends it well. Hullaby throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Grant was covering up waiting for the punch and Hullaby finishes the takedown easily into guard. Grant looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hullaby engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Hullaby won't allow Grant to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grant has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Hullaby off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Grant dives in and grabs Hullaby's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hullaby pushes down on Grant's head and hops out. Hullaby tries to counter with a clinch but Grant shakes him off and moves away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lyndon Grant. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hullaby lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Hullaby goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Hullaby scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Grant is trying to improve his position. Hullaby stands up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grant moves in looking to clinch but Hullaby pushes him off. Hullaby misses with a head kick.
Grant shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Hullaby thuds his shin into the meat of Grant's side. Hullaby throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Hullaby connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Hullaby is looking to land body kicks. Grant gets caught flat footed, as Hullaby shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hullaby showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Hullaby pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Grant is keeping the position for now. Grant is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Grant is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Tykivas Hullaby has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lyndon Grant is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Grant is controlling the pace.
And that's the end of the fight! Tykivas Hullaby comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Grant has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
