Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Abdul The Refugee (ranked 8525 p4p, 628 weight class) and Freddy Lee (ranked 8087 p4p, 613 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 2 losses; Abdul The Refugee! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 4 losses; Freddy Lee!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.


Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious?

Lee fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. The Refugee sprawls well initially but Lee persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Lee drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but The Refugee manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lee has The Refugee in his guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The Refugee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The Refugee not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Lee looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The Refugee slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Lee pulls The Refugee in close to prevent any damage.

Let's hope that Lee has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The Refugee wants to pass the guard but Lee is keeping the position.

The Refugee looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Lee has a hand on The Refugee's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. The Refugee takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Lee is trying to escape the mount.

The Refugee looking to control but Lee is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Lee is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Lee gets back to half guard.
Lee is looking to control The Refugee's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lee avoid being mounted?

Lee is looking for a sweep. The Refugee is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Lee is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Lee is staying active underneath The Refugee, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Lee is trying to get back to full guard.
The Refugee wants to take a breather but Lee is having none of it.

Lee keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Lee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. The Refugee is working away from the top position though.
Lee wants to improve his position but The Refugee is controlling well.

Lee has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but The Refugee has passed into side control.

A determined Abdul The Refugee didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
