Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Grice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Tuffnuts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joey Tuffnuts is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gary Grice! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joey Tuffnuts! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grice throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Tuffnuts stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Grice follows into mount!
Tuffnuts is rocked!
It looks like Joey Tuffnuts has been cut. Tuffnuts looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! The referee warns Tuffnuts that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Tuffnuts is still in real trouble! Can Grice finish him? Grice controlling from the full mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Grice lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Tuffnuts hang on? Grice sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Tuffnuts seems to have recovered his senses. Grice working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Grice looking to control but Tuffnuts is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Tuffnuts in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Grice can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tuffnuts is looking to escape. Grice is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Grice is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grice controlling the pace for now. Tuffnuts is looking to improve his position but Grice isn't that keen on the idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tuffnuts slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Tuffnuts wants to get back to full guard. Grice is taking a breather. Tuffnuts says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Grice in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Tuffnuts tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Grice!
