Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leo Perez (ranked 7780 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Josefi (ranked 7353 p4p, 0 weight class). Josefi has chosen I beat my dick as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Terry Josefi enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Leo Perez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Terry Josefi! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Josefi misses with a kick to the body and Perez counters with a single leg into guard. Josefi didn't expect that. Perez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Perez working some strikes from top position. Perez stopping the sweep attempt from Josefi. Perez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Perez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Josefi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Perez has managed to get both his arms back between Josefi's legs - danger averted. Perez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Perez throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Josefi is looking for a triangle but Perez pushes his legs off easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Perez is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Josefi has his hands on Perez's head, controlling the position. Perez is looking to work some ground and pound but Josefi has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Josefi throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Perez with a flurry of punches that miss. Josefi is pulling down on Perez's head. It's preventing any offense from Perez, at least for the moment. Perez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Josefi works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Josefi controlling Perez's posture. Josefi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Perez is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Perez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Josefi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Perez rushes Josefi and presses him up against the cage. Josefi turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Josefi just content to control the position. Josefi looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perez is not content to let Josefi control the position. Josefi lands a decent elbow from side control. Perez can't do much from the bottom here. Josefi trying to control the position but Perez is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Josefi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Josefi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Josefi swings around for an armbar but Perez sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Josefi's guard. Perez with a flurry of punches that miss. Perez preventing the sweep. Josefi pulls Perez in close to prevent any damage. Perez distracts Josefi with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Perez throws an elbow that misses. Josefi uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Perez's guard. Nice move by Josefi!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Leo Perez will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Perez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Josefi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Perez moves in looking to clinch but Josefi pushes him off. Perez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Josefi pinned against the cage. Josefi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Perez throws a head kick that Josefi semi-blocks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Perez moves into the clinch successfully.
A frustrated look appears on Perez's face as he tries to break the clinch. Perez is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Josefi gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Josefi is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Perez is defending well. Josefi lands a takedown into guard.
Josefi is pushing down on Perez's leg trying to pass to half guard. Perez is fighting to maintain full guard but Josefi has managed to sneak the leg through. Josefi wants to take a breather but Perez is having none of it. Perez is trying to stand back up but Josefi is controlling him
Josefi trying to control from half guard but Perez is working away. Josefi is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Perez has managed to free his arm - good work. Josefi works his way into full mount! Josefi mounts Perez! Really nice guard pass there!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Josefi tries to control but Perez wriggling away. Josefi prevents Perez from getting the reversal. Josefi wants to control the pace but Perez is squirming around nicely. Josefi moves to the back. Josefi is looking for the choke from the back position but Perez is controlling his hands well. Josefi is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Perez won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Josefi off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Terry Josefi! Post fight, Terry Josefi took to the microphone: 'Damn it feels good to be a gangster'.
