The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Parker lands but McGrath takes it in his stride.
McGrath keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A clash of legs there as McGrath blocks the low kick.
Parker could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
McGrath works over Parker's head and body with a nice combination.
McGrath looks to land a combination. Parker sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
McGrath lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Johnathan Parker has been cut.
Parker shoots in for a double leg but McGrath sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
McGrath tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McGrath throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Parker's jaw, knocking him onto his back! McGrath dives in looking to finish as Parker flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block McGrath's strikes! McGrath is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Parker's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Parker was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
