Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kirby Stout (ranked 5811 p4p, 0 weight class) and Codename Colt (ranked 5105 p4p, 0 weight class). Codename Colt will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kirby Stout! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Codename Colt! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stout fails with the takedown. A countering left hand to the body from Colt misses. Colt gets the takedown into side control. Colt working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Colt decides to take the fight back to the feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stout shoots in looking for a takedown. Colt tries to sprawl out of it but Stout keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Colt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Colt appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colt fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stout sprawls well initially but Colt persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Stout manages to escape and get back to his feet! Colt keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kirby Stout. That's going to take a lot out of him. Colt gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stout to score an easy takedown into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stout makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Colt pulls Stout in close to prevent any damage. Colt manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Colt is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Stout gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Stout tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Colt just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Colt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Stout fails with the takedown and Colt counters with a nice uppercut. Stout goes for a double leg but Colt avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Colt continues to drive forward. Nice takedown defense from Colt. No joy for Stout on that attempt. Colt now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Colt tries to clinch but Stout is having none of it. Stout misses the body punch and Colt counters with a nice body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stout shoots for a double leg takedown but Colt sprawls well. He's pushed Stout's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Stout is breathing heavily. Colt moves in looking to clinch but Stout pushes him off. Stout darts in and clinches Colt up against the cage. Stout blocks a body shot from Colt. Colt changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Stout fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Stout ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Colt moves away. Stout shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Colt sprawls well. Colt wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stout gets slowly back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Codename Colt dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Colt shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Stout is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stout is trying to stand up here but Colt is controlling him well. Stout trying to control from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round. Stout trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Stout tries to lock up and control but Colt gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Stout is trying desperately to improve position. Stout throwing hammer fists to the chest of Colt. What's that going to do exactly? Stout tries to hold on but Colt postures up. Stout tries to get back to half guard but can't. Colt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stout. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Stout flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Stout is trying to escape the mount.
Codename Colt has got the better of the ground game so far. Stout is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stout working to try and regain half guard.
Stout is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Stout tries to get back to half guard but can't. Colt controlling the position easily from mount. Stout has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Stout is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stout is squirming around, avoiding Colt's attempts to control the action. Stout tries to hold on but Colt pushes him away. Colt controlling from the full mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stout is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Stout wants to hold on but Colt pushes him away. Colt blocks Stout's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Stout tries to lock up and control but Colt gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Colt has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Stout swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Stout is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stout is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stout is desperately trying to improve his position but Colt has a good base and remains in mount. Stout wants to hold on but Colt pushes him away. Colt looking to control but Stout is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Stout throwing hammer fists to the chest of Colt. What's that going to do exactly? Stout is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Colt looking to control but Stout is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Stout tries to lock up and control but Colt gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Codename Colt showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Stout moves into range and clinches up with Colt. Colt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stout fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Colt manages to avoid it. Colt drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Stout defends it well. Colt scores with a takedown into Stout's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stout is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Stout is looking for a triangle but Colt pushes his legs off easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stout not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Stout is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Stout will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Colt stands up from guard. Let's bang! Stout shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Colt counters with a left to the body. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Stout instigates a clinch. Stout tries to pull guard but Colt holds him up against the cage and eventually Stout drops back down to his feet.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kirby Stout. That's going to take a lot out of him. Colt working Stout over with knees to the body. Stout jumps guard but Colt stands there with Stout around his waist. Stout gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. A head punch on the inside from Stout fails to land. Colt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Colt stuffs the takedown. Colt is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Stout with a body shot. Stout misses with a takedown attempt and Colt counters with a left to the body. Colt shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Stout manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Colt is standing up over Stout. Stout looks to escape but Colt dives into side control.

Colt decides to stand up, so the ref orders Stout to his feet. Colt gets a takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Colt takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Codename Colt is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Colt wants to take a breather but Stout is having none of it. Kirby Stout has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Stout looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
And that's the end of the fight! Codename Colt comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Colt winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
