The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Sonnen is nestled in close to Wiggins, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Sonnen is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Wiggins is hurt! He's hurt bad - Sonnen fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Wiggins from any more punishment! Congratulations to Sonnen! Great finish!
