Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rolando Barry (ranked 6266 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iosefa Collins (ranked 4630 p4p, 338 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rolando Barry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Iosefa Collins! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Collins throws a head kick that misses. Barry is trying hard to land a takedown here. Collins sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Collins moves into the clinch successfully.
Barry breaks from the clinch.
Barry has a takedown stuffed. Collins closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barry tries to bench press Collins off him but Collins keeps the position. Collins wants to stand but Barry has his arm trapped. Barry is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Collins off and has taken his back!
That's one minute gone in the round. Barry missing with strikes. Barry keeps control of the position as Collins tries to break free.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee is taking a good look at Collins as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Barry!
Barry lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Collins hold on?!
Barry punches the canvas rather than the man. Barry knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Collins on the ground. Collins trying to control the hands but Barry won't let him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Collins might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Barry haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Barry has the hooks in. Collins is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Collins looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Collins is in bad spot here.
Collins avoids the strikes from Barry. Barry punches the canvas rather than the man.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barry lands a shot to the head. Barry cracks Collins with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Collins from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Collins tries to escape but Barry has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Collins is trying to get back to his feet but Barry has full control of the position and if anything, Collins has just worked his way into a worse spot. Collins trying to control the position but Barry manages to sink in the hooks. Collins is really stuck here.
Barry lands an elbow to the side of the head. Collins is trying to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barry not allowing Collins to control his hands. Collins is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Collins covering up well under a series of strikes from Barry. Collins tries to escape the position.

Rolando Barry dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Collins shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Barry is looking to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Collins tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Collins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Barry keeps working. Barry tries to get back to half guard but can't. Collins postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Collins tries to move into full mount but can't pass Barry's legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Collins is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Barry has escaped the position, nice work there. Collins tries to stand but Barry is controlling his head.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Barry tries a low kick but Collins avoids it. Collins gets in close and instigates a clinch. Collins wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Barry. Barry breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Collins closes the distance and clinches.

Barry is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Collins can do to turn this around? Barry breaks the clinch.
Collins looks for the body kick but Barry saw that one coming. Collins shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Barry is trying to defend but Collins finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Collins is keen to just control but Barry is a slippery customer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Iosefa Collins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Collins moves into range and clinches up with Barry. Collins decides to pull guard. Barry working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Collins working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Barry. Collins wants to sweep here but Barry controlling him for the moment. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Collins is on top in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barry looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Collins trying to control but Barry is working from the bottom. Collins would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barry trying to keep a closed guard but Collins is proving a slippery customer.
Collins wanted to stand there but Barry had control of the position. Collins trying to control the position from guard on top but Barry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Barry fails to land the takedown. Collins clinches up against the cage. Barry could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Collins jumps into guard, dragging Barry to the mat.
Barry might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Collins wants to stand but Barry is controlling the position. Collins thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Barry postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Collins looking to control but Barry passes into half guard.
Rolando Barry overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Barry is thwarting Collins's attempts to control the position. Barry stops Collins from getting back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Collins throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Barry was covering up waiting for the punch and Collins finishes the takedown easily into guard. Barry manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Collins manages to get himself to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barry landing some decent shots from guard. Collins bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Barry's guard. Collins throws a strike but Barry rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Barry has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Collins looking to control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Iosefa Collins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Collins has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
