Gustafsson feints and as Jackson raises his hands in defense, Gustafsson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Gustafsson seems to be working for a kimura but Jackson defends the submission attempt. Gustafsson wants to free his trapped foot but Jackson is holding on for dear life with his legs. Gustafsson is working hard here to advance position. Gustafsson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gustafsson is trying to work for a kimura but Jackson is defending well.

Gustafsson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jackson dives on top into guard. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Gustafsson wants to sweep but no luck.

He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jackson! Gustafsson can't keep hold of the triangle and Jackson manages to pass to side control! Gustafsson is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Jackson's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Jackson! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Gustafsson has tapped! This one is allllll over!
