PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stunna Boy (ranked 2955 p4p, 270 weight class) and Tua Graves (ranked 3267 p4p, 289 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Stunna Boy has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Stunna Boy seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy shoots in for a double leg but Graves sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Boy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Graves but Graves pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Boy leaves Graves with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Graves tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Boy swivels and escapes.
A head kick by Graves misses

and Boy counters with a shoot takedown. Graves fights it but they end up in guard.
Graves has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Iron Man (Fitness & Sparring). Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Graves working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Boy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Graves is tightening it up a little... Boy has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Boy reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Boy taps out! Nice BJJ there by Graves!
