PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Military Industrial Complex (ranked 6465 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rubens Charles (ranked 5668 p4p, 261 weight class). Complex kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rusty Cage - Johnny Cash. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

A nice leg kick lands there from Complex.
A jab lands there for Complex.

Charles shoots and misses
enabling Complex to counter with a crisp jab.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Complex.
Complex scores with a kick to the midsection.
Complex jabs Charles right on the nose. Charles blinks but takes it well.
Complex works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Charles shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Complex manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Complex is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Complex had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Charles defends it easily.

Complex has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Charles can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Charles closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
