Kiko lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Grove backs up against the cage.
Grove finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Kiko let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Kiwo Kiko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grove takes one to the side of the head.
Kiko throws a hook to the side of Grove's head but Grove sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Grove throws a looping overhand right but Kiko ducks down to avoid it.
Grove throws a body shot but no joy.
Kiko looks to land a left hand but Grove moved out of range nicely.
Kiko lands a glancing blow to the side of Grove's head.#ROC2#
Grove is rocked!
Kiko throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Grove stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Oh Grove is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Grove throws a shot from downtown. Kiko moves away and avoids it.
Kiko misses with a series of wild punches.
Grove really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kiko drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Grove right on the button. Grove goes down! Kiko follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Kiko gets the win via TKO!

Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Kiwo Kiko and Dominick Verk. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Dominick Verk enters the cage!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Dominick Verk!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.

Verk shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Verk seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kiko does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Kiko is trying to control but can't.
Verk prevents Kiko from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Verk perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Kiko tries to get to full guard but Verk has control of the leg.
Verk passes to side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kiko tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Verk presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Kiko bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Kiko wants to pass the guard but Verk is keeping the position.

Verk looking for a triangle here. Kiko is fighting it but it looks tight! Verk pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Kiko is tapping out - this one is all over!

The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
McSwinney darts in looking for a takedown but Kiko gets double underhooks and turns McSwinney into the cage.

Kiko gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Kiko ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kiko no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kiko regains full guard. Nicely done.
Kiko not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kiko looking to hit a scissor sweep but McSwinney is one step ahead there.

Kiko makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kiko.
McSwinney wants to control from the top but Kiko keeps moving.
Kiko pulls McSwinney in close to prevent any damage.

Kiko is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kiko seems to be looking for submissions.
McSwinney could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Kiko seems to be working for a kimura but McSwinney defends the submission attempt.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
McSwinney is defending against the submission attempts here by Kiko.

McSwinney makes his way to full guard, as Kiko worked for a kimura.

McSwinney has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kiko is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for McSwinney.

McSwinney is looking to reverse the position.
Kiko tries to move into full mount but can't pass McSwinney's legs.

Kiko in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... McSwinney is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Kiko swings widly with a right hand
and Welker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kiko with a jab.
Kiko takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Kiko takes a swing at Welker's ribcage but misses.
Kiko pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kiko throws an overhand right that lands on Welker's shoulder, as Welker tries to avoid the shot.
Kiko sets himself, and Welker steps forward looking for the clinch! Kiko avoids it this time.
Kiko misses with a hook.
Kiko throws a right hand that misses #TD2#
and Welker counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#SUB#
Kiko is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Welker lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kiko wants to sweep here but Welker controlling him for the moment.

Kiko wants to improve his position but instead Welker has moved into half guard.
Welker is nestled in close to Kiko, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Welker looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kiko with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Welker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Welker is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. #ROC2#
Kiko is rocked!
Welker lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Kiko quite badly. Kiko pulls Welker in close trying to recover. Welker postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Kiko on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Kiko doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Whisper Welker!
