Shaforostov shoots for a takedown but Tunney saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Shaforostov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tunney but Tunney pushes him off and we're back to square one. Tunney tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Shaforostov manages to circle out of the way.#CL# Tunney moves into range and clinches up with Shaforostov. Shaforostov blocks an elbow strike from Tunney.
Tunney gets through Shaforostov's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Shaforostov blocks a body shot from Tunney. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shaforostov is trying to maintain a safe position but Tunney gets an underhook and turns Shaforostov into the cage. Tunney lands a shoulder strike. Tunney lands a nice elbow from the clinch. #ROC# Shaforostov is rocked! Shaforostov is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. #R1# Shaforostov doesn't manage to clinch there - Wrestlefuck circles away.
Wrestlefuck connects with a jab. Shaforostov scoring well with a low kick there.
Shaforostov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Wrestlefuck ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Shaforostov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Wrestlefuck counters with a nice body shot. Shaforostov misses with a kick to the body and Wrestlefuck counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Shaforostov off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Wrestlefuck follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Shaforostov was out before he hit the floor.

#R1##TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from Shaforostov enables White Jr to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Shaforostov manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. White Jr throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. White Jr loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. White Jr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shaforostov swivels though and keeps the full guard. Shaforostov lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# White Jr is pulling down on Shaforostov's head. It's preventing any offense from Shaforostov, at least for the moment. Shaforostov postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White Jr doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

#R1##TD2# Shaforostov shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Shaforostov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Huia's head. #SUB2# Shaforostov is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Huia has managed to free his arm - good work. Shaforostov looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Huia trying to control but Shaforostov postures up.
Huia makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Huia. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shaforostov chips away with some ground and pound. Shaforostov keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Huia's head. Shaforostov has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Huia is proving hard to escape from. Shaforostov throwing strikes from guard but Huia blocks nicely. #T1# Huia preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Shaforostov lands a couple of decent looking shots. Huia not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
