#R1# A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vang is defended easily by Martinez.#TD# Martinez closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Vang's guard. Vang is looking to stand up but Martinez isn't so interested in that idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Martinez throws a big elbow that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Martinez works over Vang with some ground and pound from guard. Martinez lands a couple of elbows. Martinez passes Vang's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Martinez scores with a couple of good hammerfists.#SU# Martinez decides to return to a standing position. #TD# Martinez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. #T1# Martinez working some strikes from top position. Martinez lands a couple of decent looking shots. Martinez connects with a couple of short punches. Martinez chips away with some ground and pound.#SU# Martinez stands up from guard. Let's bang! No joy there for Vang, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
#TD# Vang gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Vang wants to stand up but Martinez is controlling him. Martinez is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Martinez landing some decent shots from guard. #T2##SUB# Vang wants to stand and escape. He's got his foot on Martinez's hips, looking to push off. But Martinez grabs a hold of the leg and drops back for an ankle lock! It's hard to tell if he's got it. Both fighters look composed - OH, not anymore they don't! Vang screams like a kid who's trapped his fingers in the car door and taps out! Yikes, that must have hurt - hopefully it's not snapped anything!

#R1##TD# Gonzalez darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Gonzalez tries to pass to full mount but Vang defends it. #SUB# Gonzalez seems to be working for a kimura but Vang defends the submission attempt. Vang is trying to stand.
Gonzalez lands with a punch from half guard. Gonzalez content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Vang is trying to escape back to his feet but Gonzalez uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Gonzalez gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Vang is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Gonzalez lets go of the hold and Vang can pop his arm back in it's socket.
