ReConnor keeping moving, preventing Shun from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Shun has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing ReConnor to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Shun is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - ReConnor pulls down on the head and he's put Shun to sleep! This one is all over!

#R1# Bottoms throws a leg kick that is checked#TD2# and Shun counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Bottoms! #ES# Bottoms throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Holden Bottoms seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD2# Shun decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.#ES# Bottoms pushes Shun off and gets back to his feet. This has been an exciting period of action! Bottoms uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Shun shoots in but Bottoms avoids the takedown attempt easily. Bottoms just misses with a punch to the body.

and Bottoms counters with a left to the body. A left and a right from Bottoms both land. Nice combination. Shun throws a body shot but no joy. Bottoms lands a jab. Then a cross. Bottoms cracks Shun on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Shun falls backwards against the cage. Bottoms follows up with more strikes that drop Shun to his knees. Bottoms keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Shun! This one is all over!

The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Shun. Jackson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Shun. Jackson looks like he wants to counter punch here. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Larith Shun. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shun fails with the takedown. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Shun shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Stig counters with an inside leg kick. Stig sizes up Shun with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Shun with a poor takedown and Stig counters with a stiff right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Larith Shun. That's going to take a lot out of him. No luck for Shun with that takedown attempt. Shun fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stig avoids it really well and circles away. Shun shoots and misses and Stig counters with a low kick, right behind Shun 's knee. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stig thumps Shun with a low kick. Shun takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Stig lands with a thumping leg kick.

#R1# Shun fails with a takedown attempt. Shun fails miserably with a takedown attempt. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Richards! But no joy. Shun with a lazy takedown attempt and Richards counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Larith Shun. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shun takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Shun fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Richards avoids it really well and circles away. Richards cracks Shun with a good jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Richards punishes Shun's body with a nice straight punch. Richards looks to land a left hand but Shun moved out of range nicely. Shun uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Richards.

Shun shoots in looking for a takedown but Richards manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Shun's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Shun uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Richards. Shun closes the distance and clinches up with Richards, looking for a takedown. Shun pushes Richards against the cage but Richards circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Richards misses with an uppercut. Richards throws a hook to the side of Shun's head but Shun sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Richards misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A left lands for Richards. Richards cracks a nice hook into Shun's ribs. Viv Richards is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Shun fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Richards swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Richards leaves Shun with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Richards throws out a counter right but Shun avoids it with no problem.#T4# Shun with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Richards to score with a decent uppercut. Shun doesn't succeed with the takedown and Richards counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Shun shoots in and drives through. Richards sprawls well. Richards jabs at Shun's body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Richards cracks Shun on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Shun falls backwards against the cage. Richards follows up with more strikes that drop Shun to his knees. Richards keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Shun! This one is all over!
