Sharpe drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Khan tries to circle away but Sharpe has him pinned against the cage.

It looks like Carlton Sharpe has been cut.
Khan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sharpe is proving hard to escape from.
Sharpe wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Khan cracks Sharpe with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Sharpe falls to his knees and Khan doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Simoni Khan was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
