It looked like O'Neil wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Aidan O'Neil has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Plouman.

Plouman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fighter Four circles away.
Plouman has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Fighter Four finds it's way round the side to connect with Plouman's head.
Plouman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Plouman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Fighter Four swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Fighter Four looks to land a right hand but Plouman moved out of range.
Fighter Four throws a sloppy head kick and Plouman moves out of range easily.
Plouman checks the leg kick.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean Plouman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Plouman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fighter Four's waist but Fighter Four gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Plouman off to one side.

Plouman has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Durham defend it? Plouman steps over the head and cranks it - Durham is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Plouman!
